Welcome to the Forums!

P0101 is a MAF error code. If that truck is using any type of oiled air filter, the MAF is probably contaminated with oil. Clean it with some electrical contact cleaner, or plastic-safe brake cleaner. Could also be poor contact condition. Pull the connector and check for corrosion. If it has any dry/powdery looking stuff in it, it needs cleaning. Clean it with some contact cleaner and reconnect with some dielectric grease. The SES should clear as soon as the condition is no longer present at the next start cycle. There will be a hidden code stored in memory for several warm up cycles.

DmaxMaverick - you probably hit the nail on the head. Freshly cleaned and oiled air filter prior to leaving on this trip, first big hill pulling the trailer and the light came on.

Thanks for the help!!!

It's always nice when it's something stupid-simple. If you don't have any contact or brake cleaner handy, you can use gasoline (at the airway, not the connector). Dawn detergent with hot water will also work, if necessary. Just make sure it is well rinsed and completely dry (water or gas) before reinstalling. In any case, no harm done, just inconvenience and maybe some lost MPG (means more these days!!!)
