Is it normal to have pressure on the injector return lines (squirting at you pressure) after running the electric pump & cranking for a few seconds? I am finally putting my truck back together after a motor swap. I'm thinking I may have the lines crossed at the filter, somehow. I am 99.9% that the pressure line is on the inlet, but may have got the others crossed somehow?

Also, on inital pump timing, where is best to set the pump. Mine is setting pretty much level with the rest of the motor. I had the old timing cover marked, but it went with the old motor!!

It has been so long since the motor was in, I'm forgetting on how things were installed on it!
As always, thanks for the help!

No, not normal. The return line is just a drain back to the tank. If it has pressure then it's not draining!

Set the pump so the shutoff solenoid is vertical, should be good enough to start.
