Different engines

Does anyone know what the difference is between a new gm 6.5 motor that has a 3yr 150000km warranty and the new hummer engine that comes with the 2yr no mileage limit warranty other than the price?

I would say you would need to ask the dealer or dealers. GM and Hummer or who ever is selling the Eng.

I'm pretty sure that the only company making a NEW 6.5 is GEP/AMG The blocks are cast by Navistar. I would think you would be getting the same thing with price adjusted for the different warrenty.
