I am considering converting my '82 Suburban to biodiesel.
I wanted to get some Viton fuel lines from Mcmaster-carr ... what sizes do I need?
I assume there are two types, the return lines from the injectors, and everything else.
What inside diameters do I need, and approximately how much should I buy ( overall length )?

I'm replacing my fuel lines a little at a time to handle my BD. The injector lines are an odd size but McMaster does have it and I believe you'll need 17 inches. I'm not at home where that info is but I'll try to remember to look it up tonight. The rest of the lines are standard size and you should just take a string and measure what you need. I've added an electric fuel pump on the firewall and bypassed the manuel FP so I've definitely modified the factory length.
I've been running B100 for 2 weeks. I thought I'd just run till things started leaking.
So far, I've only had an issues with a return line cap. It looks like a better quality vacuum cap. I have no idea if it's stock, so I got some high quality braded line, and put a set screw in the tube with a clamp.
You'll want to put a good size clear filter before the stock filter. The BD will 'clean out' your tank. I'm carrying a spare filter, and I check it often. So far, I've noticed some gunk in there, but not enough to replace it.

I've been running homebrewed B100 for a couple of years now in both of my vehicles. I haven't had any fuel line troubles yet.
It might help that all of the fuel lines were fairly new in my '81 before I started the Bio.

Apparently no one has the info handy ... I'll tear down my rig and measure them myself ... and post the info here for the next search attempt.

Sorry, man. I don't have the info either. When I got my return line from NAPA they said "here it is". I don't have any way to measure the return line.
The other fuel line may be 3/8. It's pretty easy to tell, if you have a sample you can put a bolt in.
I'm wondering what you'll do for the end of line cap for the return line. Viton on the return line would be pretty cool, but putting a set screw in a 1" piece of tube looks kinda cheasy to me. Sure, it will work, but I wish I could fine a real cap.
