I ordered a new set of injectors and the ones I got are shorter than my cores. I am rebuilding a 6.2 out of my cucv and will be putting an ATS turbo kit on it.

Why do they make short and long body inectors? Other than tweaking the fuel lines a little "to fit" will using these shorty's be ok?

The different body length on the injectors were to accomodate different applications. (Clearance issues) The 6.5 TD uses a different one than the standard 6.2 N/A
Take the short ones back and get the right length ones.
DONT BEND THE LINES

Someone just goofed. If they tell you you have no choice or some other such BS then get your cores back and go esewhere.
The other choice is to change the lines to match the injector style.
I would replace with like parts and save a bunch of hastle.
