Return Fuel

Where does the return fuel get put back into the system? I have a mechanical lift fuel pump. I`m using a DB2-4970 injector pump. Where does the return on the injector pump tie in to? Can the injector pump and injector returns be tied together? I`m just trying to get a picture how this will all come together.

There's a steel tube that runs across the front of the engine . The return from the pump connects at the top and the 2 front injectors connect at the bottom .If you have the older trucks , the tube has a tee at the right side that also connects to the return line for the tank . This return tube runs from the front of the heads and winds around the alt , thermostat housing , etc going from one side to the other . Depending on the year , there are different tubes as well .
