I have a 98 2500 4x4 w/ 6.5L stock motor. It stalled out on a highway exit ramp and now wont start at all. Any ideas on where to start looking? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Check to make sure you are getting fuel at the IP

If the engine cranks but does not start this can be electronic in nature or a lack of fuel.

Try removing the fuel line from the top of the IP then crank the engine. (get a helper) run the little rubber hose into a cup. If no fuel come out then it' either a plugged filter or lift pump issue.
Is the lift pump running when the starter is being cranked. Pump is on the frame inside the channel under the area of the drivers seat.

If fuel is flowing to the IP then the issue could very well be the infamous PMD

Little black box on the LH side of the injector pump.

A failure of the PMD can shut these things down real quick.
Also the little round device on the top of the IP near the front (Fuel shut off) This turns the engine off and iof its fails things stop.

Try checking things out and let us know.

If you have fuel to the IP and the fuel shut off up top clicks when power is turned on and off the issue is likely the PMD.
Also are there any codes showing (Did the check engine light come on)

Good luck
