is my temp too low???

my truck runs at about 160 degrees. i thought that it could be due to the fact that i work about 10 miles away and figured it just takes a really long time to warm up, but it has great heat. do you guys think it just has a 160 degree thermostat or is something else wrong? also, the upper rad hose will be hard for the first few minutes then softens right up, so i know the thermostat is working.

The 1st mark after the initial needle stop is around 180. I know that in 10 miles that's where mine is at as well. Doesn't get too hot. I'm running a 180 stat tho, but have noticed the 190 does about the same on a cold morning/day.

i may have been looking at the gauge wrong. the needle stops shortly after the first mark on the gauge. thanks again
