Hey all,
Question. Any reccomendations for replacing the stock fuel gauge with soemthing more accurate? Perhaps a gauge that indicates the actual amount of fuel remaining, or how many miles expected on the fuel in the tank?

Thanks,
Brad

Don't have a solution but can echo your concerns. I've had 3 Duramaxes, 2001, 2003, and the current 2005. The first two had relatively accurate gauges and DIC was accurate for fuel remaining. But my 2005, insofar as miles (range) remaining, is off by 5 gallons or so. The gallons used is usually within 5%, but not the range. That baffles me. Additionally the gauge itself will show empty, then only take 21 gallons to refill. First half of gauge appears accurate, but second half is not.
