Bouncing Spedo

Just got the truck back (new motor) and noticed the spedo bouncing at idle after start. Seems to be rythmic about 3 seconds apart and bounces to 15mph. Any thoughts?

This is common and depends where the output speed sensor interuptor is in relation to the sensor.

I have never had later rig that did not do it at some time.

It usually happens when the truck is first started and then after its run it will stop it.
