Looking to begin to swap out some of my lights with LEDS. Before embarking on this, thought I better check it out here and keep the learning curve down.

I've read I may have some troubles with turn signal lights due to low voltage? Any body have any issues with this?

Has anybody bought those 45 LED back up lights?

I've checked the past threads and they seem to be from the past, and it appears as though the LED technology has exploded as of recent.

Any help / opinions would be greatly appreciated.

Almost forgot these are going on my 96 2500 suburban

Thanks

I've dealt with these folks: SuperLumination (http://superlumination.com/)

They also have the LED flashers or load equalizers that you need to get the turn signals and such to run properly. I'd recommend using the proper flasher if possible. A load equalizer is basically just a resistor - so you're going to heat things up and not get the advantage of less current draw.

Another option is: SuperBrightLEDs (http://www.superbrightleds.com/index.htm)

But I have not used them as recently.

Thanks
Does that mean an upgrade to an electronic flasher unit or or is it more involved than that? I'm hoping for a plug and play type deal.

Check out their page here: http://superlumination.com/equalizers.htm

See if one of the flashers matches the configuration that you need. If so, yes - plug and play - just swap the new unit for your existing one.
