I bought a nice 95 K1500 350 4x4 over the weekend. i went in the glove box to see what gearing i have it has GT4 = 3.73 and it has a G80 code which = factory locking diff if im reading this right. now is there a set of numbers to look at to find out if its a Cheyenne, or silverado, or Z71 offroad or anything like that? i dont know and using the vin on carfax only yields C/K1500 pickup. anybody know what to look for? I see Z71 in one of the positions but i dont know if that means anything. i found a good decoder and figured it out after i started posting, anybody thats wants to know what they got. this is a good Chevy RPO decoder

Z71=Z71. It is the RPO code.

Look HERE (http://www.thedieselpage.com/members/rpocodes.htm) for the rest of your codes.
