subtle surging LB7

as i slow to a stop, the rig surges ever so slightly against my braking. can hear it in the engine as it's happening. when i'm at a stop, if i let off the brake slightly, it(be it the engine or something to do with my brakes) will surge. fuel delivery? punky brakes?

If you can hear the surge at idle in "P", then its probably the fuel pressure regulator. My '02 LB7 has had a slight surge for the last 50K or so, no effect on mileage or driveability.

If its on during braking as you describe, could be a warped rotor.

...or maybe both?

What you describe is exactly what my 2003 did. Was fuel pressure regulator and I had it repaired for $0 under the emission section of the warranty.
