Is sender in coolant tank removeable?

I have a 94 chev pickup 6.5 diesel. The low coolant light has been on forever so I decided to fix it. Unplugged it from the coolant tank, and bypass the sender and the light shut off. Is the sender in the tank removable? Thanks

Are you sure the sensor is bad? In regards to your other thread (where's my coolant going?), the sensor may be doing what it's supposed to do. Find out where the coolant is going, fix it, then suspect a bad sensor, if it is still not doing what you think it should.
