Since I am very limited with the amount of space I have for a fan, my original choice was for electric. But, electric may not give me enough air flow, especially since I will have to probably go with a 4 core radiator to get the cooling that I need (not much room to go wider or taller, so I have to go thicker).
Someone had talked about hydraulic fans. They are now standard on some of the V8 Jeep products. Here is a link to the manufacturer -
