I had my dash apart on my 1996 2500 suburban SLE model with 4:10's. I noticed when I pulled the trim off I had three sections of wire harness with factory type connectors bundled and tucked on the right hand side of the instrument cluster. They obviously were meant for switches in the dash, where mine has the blanks.

Does anybody know what they be intended for? Since this is an SLE I'm certain there were quite a few options it did not come with.

Any help would be appreciated.

Rear air, interior lighting, fog lamps, power point (cig lighter socket), mirror heat, rear defog, rear wiper, etc. If you have a service manual for your truck, it should list anything that could have been there, if it were so equipped.

Thanks. I'll take another pass through my Haynes manual.
