cables on injector pump

1990 Chevy Cheyanne 6.2 diesel. There are 2 cables on my injector pump. One runs thru the firewall (throttle) and the other runs to the box on the firewall. It seems to be a choke cable perhaps? I can't find a reference for the actual name, but choke cable does not come up when I do a parts search. I need a replacement cable, but don't know the name for it..... anyone know the name and a supplier?

I am not positive about yours but, on my 93 the cable to the box on the firewall (above and behind the brake master cylinder) is the cruise control cable and the box is the cruise control controller - if you have cruise control. Any GM Dealer will have the cable but that will be the most expensive supplier. GMPARTSDIRECT.COM is a good source but shipping may eat you up.

Diesels don't have a choke (or choke cable). Are you sure it is going to a "box", and not to a bracket and into a sheath (tranny TV cable). If it goes into a box, it's the cruise control cable.
