I know its kind of rusty and old and all, but I just had to show off my latest acquisition. Not exactly a common truck around here thats for sure.

Well, its a 1985 GMC High Sierra 3500, 350/SM465/NP205 with Dana 60 front and Dana 70 rear. As far as i'm told, the truck is all original aside from the grill being from a chevy truck(not sure why) and the engine. It used to have a 454, I'm thinking it was swapped to save a bit of fuel.

I know its not a diesel(not yet anyways) but I couldn't resist sharing....:D

It's pretty rotten under the cab, but the box seems pretty solid, and it sure does run nice. I just couldn't resist it once I saw it. I have never seen a 4wd 1 ton dually like this ever before. I've seen many 4 door trucks that were 4wd and many reg cab 2wd trucks, but nothing like this.

oh yeah, 313 XXX km's showing. The odometer still counts so I'm thinking its accurate.

This is going to be a perfect candidate for a Detroit Diesel swap:rolleyes:

Where in Alberta do you live? This looks like a truck that me and a buddy checked out last year

I'm in Edmonton working right now. Found this thing on Kijiji from a guy living out in the country, north of Edmonton.

He said he's had lots of people make all kinds of offers and trying to trade, even people just driving by would stop and try to buy it before he had it listed.

He said he had a few people wanting him to part it out as well.....most interest seemed to be the box and the front axle.
