I think it is, with the rising costs of diesel, way over $4.00 a gal now, after initial costs bio costs less then $2.00 a gal to make, Unless you have to buy your Veggie Oil.

I just saw a posting on Craigslist where a local guy is selling Bio at $2.70/gal. He'll even deliver for orders over 30 gallons. Gotta love that. Too bad he is on the other side of town or I'd be filling up at his place weekly.

Be careful about buying/selling fuel. The tax man may come after you.

Hey JeepSJ, that guy is only selling the WVO for that price, which is outrageous. Here is his a quote from his ad.

"I am selling my excess WVO (waste vegetable oil) filtered to 1 micron available for pickup in 5 gallon cubies or 20, 30 or 55 gallon drums for $2.70 / gallon from my Gilbert location. This oil is 50/50 blend of Peanut oil and Soybean oil. Will deliver in Phx Metro area for $10 delivery fee with a 30 gallon minimum." For that price (or less), you can get SVO.

He must have change the ad. I thought it said biodiesel(WVO) originally.

Ya I was thinking about trying some Bio to see how it ran for the summer, but I can not find a good economical source of oil to convert. There is a guy that has the appleseed style on craigs that he is selling for $400.00 if you are interested. If I could find a good oil supply I would be all over it. He probably has about $400.00 in it just in parts.
