C versus J

Hi, have just realized the last time I installed the inlet manifold on my 85 K30 I may have used C code gaskets on a J manifold, will this cause any problems ? ( like the smokescreen I now seem to have following me around)

The gaskets for a "C" have the exhaust crossover ports open to supply the EGR if equiped.

As long as you use a J manifold there should be no issues.

Thanks for the info, I will have to look for another reason for the smoke
