D-TECH PMD Failure?

Installed my new d-tech pmd and cooler today. Drove about 5 miles and truck quit. I put a wet cloth on pmd waited a couple of minutes and engine restarted. Headed back towards home and it quit again. 2 more quits and wet cloths got me home again. I am guessing I have a bad new pmd, I mounted it as mentioned in the directions on the inner fender. I am wondering whether anyone else seen this kind of failure in these d-tech pmds?

I haven't heard of any D-tech failures as of yet. I've had mine for several months now with no problems.

That doesn't mean there won't be any failures, though. Anything made by man is bound to have defects now and then.
