I've got a 95 K2500 Burb, 6.5L Diesel. Last year when we got it the AC worked fine, but this year it blows cold for about 10-15 minutes & then gets hot. I found that the AC clutch doesn't come on after that point. I checked the pressure & it seems good, in the green zone when the compressor is running. When it's off, the pressure goes really high, not sure if that's normal or not? Anyhow, I thought the clutch relay was getting hot & not working right, so I replaced it, but it didn't help.
Anyone have any ideas what the problem could be?

Thanks!

Mike

try bypassing the high pressure switch see if it stays running, if so bad switch, if not tap the clutch if it kicks back in the field coil in the clutch is getting weak........then replace the clutch(you will need a special puller for this)

I did bypass the switch & it stayed running, once. Guess that must be it.

Thanks!
