parts availability - front brake lines

i wasnt sure where to put this one so i put it here. lost a l/f brake hose last night on my 01. called all my local parts places no go most said dealer only part.not 1 dealership in the whole state of maine chevy or gmc has a brake hose in stock.ordered 2 today so i wont have to go through this again. just wanted 2 give u all a heads up if u think u will need them soon order them now, oh ya $114.00 for 2 hoses ouch

I looked up on rockauto.com, 2001 chevy silverado 2500 HD with the 6.6 dmax and I came up with a Dorman left front brake hose part # H620051 $39.79

don,t have any rock auto's in maine so i would b waiting for the hose to come from new york got both of them in on wed. hauled trailer today but 114.91 through my stealership for two p.s just saw the .com in your message but either way would still have to wait someone should have these in stock alot of 2500hd's on the road

You might find a used part in a "recycle" yard...get ya by until a new one can be found.
