to all concerned i just changed to the deep pan and flushed the whole system i used about 18 quarts. it had saeemed that people werent positive on the amount. i also put in transynd.. i am running about 10-15 degrees cooler(empty) merchant automotive had the best price on the pan. and got the oil local in mira loma ca. from valley deisel. just thought i would pass it on.

Mag Hy-Tech makes a good product. I have one of their diff covers on Lil Red. Makes checking lube levels and changing the lube a breeze. The double magnets are nice too.

The factory Allison requires about 22 quarts from bone dry to full.
