Hey guys,
I was driving along and noticed my voltage gauge way over past 19 volts!:confused:
Stopped at a parts house and checked batts. Both were good and after disconnecting and testing we then connected again. BUT it showed the usual 14 volts.:confused: I drove with it overcharging for about 30 miles, stopped and started several times and gauge always went to show overcharging but after disconnecting it went normal and never had a another problem for another 300 miles so far. Summer temps were close to 100 deg outside in Arkansas so could this be a battery issue or voltage regulator issue or what maybe?
