View Full Version : Where to buy 3.42 rear diff gears?

I know the topic of changing to 3.42's has been covered, but I can not find a source for them.
About a year ago I looked for another truck I had and could only find 3.73's so I had to use those. This time I want to try 3.42
Some web sites say they have 3.42's, but when I call they say they are not availible. Anyone know of a place to actually get my hands on a set?

You could try Randy's Ring & Pinion (http://www.ringpinion.com/)or Rieder Racing (http://reiderracing.com/) or Precision Gear (http://www.precisiongear.com/ringmain.htm). All three should have what you need. I know Randy's has the 3.42 for a 14 bolt (http://www.ringpinion.com/ProductDetails.aspx?ProdID=621).
