I have a 97 chevy wiht a 6.5 and a am considering buying the heath boost fooler cna i run this with a boost gauge and be ok? I know that the ses light will be on but will i have any other issues until i can afford the other componets Thanks Denny

I ran the Heath boost foolers on two '94s and had good luck with them. Pretty much 'set it and forget it' after installation.

Some prefer to maintain the factory boost control system as it is controlled by the ECM - and the boost fooler is simply a mechanical workaround for problems with the factory system, with no 'knowledge' of what boost the ECM is calling for.

Bottom line: They work. I didn't have any SES codes set with moderate setting of 12psi nominal.
