Mech vs Vac waste gate control ?

Well my vacuum pp is bad and I'm wondering which way to go the mechanical waste gate control or install a new vacuum pp? This is on my 96 Burb.

The choice is entirely yours.

A suburban is an "F" (8th digit VIN code) so vacuum only is required for the wastegate.

The vacuum system works fine, I never heard anyone with a functioning one complain about it.

The mechanical wastegate control system works fine, I never heard anyone with a functioning one complain about it.
