I have just replaced my injectors on my 2002 MAX.

Trouble is I am in England so NO WARRANTY.

Truck has only done 35.000 miles, I am now worried, will the new injectors have the same problems, OR have they been modified.

I has cost me OVER £4300 (thats around 8600 USD). Too much to do it all over again.

She now runs like a dream, long may it last (I HOPE)

Most here agree that its all about filtration.

Given the cost of your injector replacements, I would quickly fit your truck with a additional filtration. You might also run a quality additive to increase lubricity for long injection pump life.

With today's high fuel pressures, keeping even the smallest foreign materials out appears to be the best insurance for injector longevity.

when i replaced my injectors on my own (live in Sweden, no warranty here either) then i added Kennedy's mega filter kit at the same time.
i think it's the best availible fuel filter since it's so large and rated @ 2micron.
be sure to mount it downstream of OEM filter!
