6L90E tranny questions

My new 08 2500HD has the 6L90E. Do we know much about this tranny yet?

If I remember correctly, it is an evolution of the 4L80-E, which means it is a good choice behind the gas small-blocks or even a diesel with up to a ~440 lb-ft torque peak. The new Duramax (250 hp/440 lb-ft) powered vans used the 4L80-E. The double-OD should help produce better fuel economy - assuming the engine's torque curve supports a low cruise rpm. :)
