6.2L Engine Value

I'm looking at an '85 C20 with a J-code 6.2L/TH400 combo. The truck is supposed to have only 89,000 original miles on it, but it was used to haul scrap iron so it's not in the best shape. I was planning on just getting the truck for the engine. What is a good running 6.2L engine worth?

i have gotten them as low as $50 dollars and as high as $600 im my area and i was able to get a 6bt cummins for a trade recetly

I paid 300 for an '89 6.2L that I heard run before the fella pulled it out and replaced it with a 454 BBC, it only had about 80K miles on it... I feel I got a good price, but one might go for 4-500 and be just as good a deal...
