Wondering if anyone has checking into this. I had some wood slide off my lumber rack and damage my hood. It was already fairly peppered with rock chips and also some dents from squirrels ... bombing me with green pine cones in my driveway. So, I'm game for replacing the hood and am wondering if the 05 style hood will fit? Any advice appreciated.

It should. They are the same tooling series, and they share the grill and headlamps. Your local body shop would know for sure.

Sorry, I suspect it the 06 HD hood I'm wanting to retrofit? The taller hood with the bigger crowned top? The grill looks different as well, narrower?
