Hi ,
I hope you guys can help me find out what wrong with this truck.
1994 Chev 3500 6.5 diesel.
It is throwing no codes. It will idle when you start it fine... just as soon a you give it fuel it will throttle up and stay there. We have found if you tap the brakes a couple of times it will come back down. The cruise control is turned off. We cant really drive it to a garage 90 miles away without taking the chance on blowing the motor.
The motor has 20,000 on a new rebuild, new computer, fuel filters, checked for vacuam leak.
Please give me an idea, I cant get my truck back until his is fixed.
