Hello, does anyone know if you can run a mechanical injection pump with the new p400 and the factory dual thermostat housing? The thermostat housing on the p400 looks to be different from the old style.....chad

The P400 HMMWV is running a Stanadyne mechanical, probably a DB2. If the HMMWV dual t-stat setup wouldn't work in your application, you could adapt the 1997+ twin thermostat truck/Sub system. We first did it in 1999, and published a series of articles showing how to do it. Kennedydiesel.com is offering a kit that includes the water pump, hoses, thermostats and modified twin-stat components for the pre-electronic engines - for those who don't want to do the mods themselves.

You'll have to fab throttle and cruise cable brackets as the '93 has the 4911 IP. There's pic's on here somewhere from a guy who did it a little while back.
