hey all, my factory tranny cooler on my 01 dmax is leaking and i would like to replace it with something better however i cant seem to find anything. does anyone know who makes something that will bolt in and how much?

You could also check the two fittings on the cooler. These are the same quick-disconnect type like those used on the transmission. They utilize an o-ring seal.

Also, the crimped fittings where the rubber hose meets the steel tubing have been known to leak (ooze).

its not the fittings it looks as though it took a rock or something flying up from another vehicle. checked in to the cooler refered to in that post,$450 seems a little steep to me. there must be something else out there

I've bought a couple of coolers from them for my 6.5 with good results.
