i recently installed a nv4500(out of a 93) in my 96 c2500hd after my tci 700r4 streetfighter took a dump after 5k miles(thanks guys i didnt need that $2000 anyways) anyways... i converted my rear brakes to disc.. and tossed the ebrake, but now that i have a 5speed, i kinda want it back, but the cadillac calipers w the ebrakes are junk... so...
i have seen nv4500's w/ a drum brake bolted to the tailhousing.. however i can find NO info on it or were to buy parts from or what it even comes on, im guessing 3500hd chassis cabs? anyone have any info?

look for the park brake on rear of transmission on the P chassis and 3500HDs built 92-02, these are the ones with I-beam (solid) front axles. the down side is you will need a whole tranny from one of these vehicles because of a different output shaft and housing. If you're in the Atl Ga area I can maybe help with parts. mkhagemann@bellsouth.net

yes they are for the hd trucks as far as I know the 93-94 have the lowest gear sets in these transmissions you can biy parts for these but you will have to get the parts from a fleet service they deal in the big truck parts I have one if you are interested
