with a topper for sale.
246,000 miles
5 speed
FSD is remote mounted on a Kennedy cooler
New clutch, alternator, starter, glow plugs, lift pump
Very good studded snow tires, extra summer tires on rims
Spiral wound batteries, about a year old
Still has the original windshield! (and it looks like a road map of the USA...)
this truck is located in Victor, Idaho (just over the pass from Jackson Hole, Wyoming)
I got it when it had 65K miles on it, and it hasn't been worked too hard except going up and over the pass.
This has been my very reliable work truck for the past 7 years. Time to move on.
$3000 or best?

The clutch was first changed out at 120,000 miles and I had the mechanic put in the single mass flywheel conversion. I'm not sure what happened on that one but whenever things were hot the clutch would chatter a lot when starting out from a standstill, especially when hot. Two months ago the chattering finally destroyed some of the clutch springs so while the disk looked fine compared to the new one, the clutch, pressure plate, slave cylinder, and pilot bearing were replaced. The flywheel was just resurfaced, not replaced. This time around it is smooth as silk. Not sure what the difference is: better rebuild kit maybe? I supplied the parts to the mechanic this time...
Now that it looks like the truck that will be replacing this one will likely be a 2003 DMax, I'll be keeping the topper and the tires. The top end batteries will stay with this truck though.
Now asking $2500 due to the summer tires only and no shell...
I'll see about taking some pics later today.

Surely there's somebody here who needs a solid truck for $2000.
Hell, the NV4500 5 speed transmission is worth most of that! Any gearheads building up a hunting 4x4? Here's your foundation...

I just took it to Idaho Falls yesterday to excercise it a bit. Hadn't been started for a couple of weeks and it fired right up (thanks Robyn for the info on the starter wiring mod I did, it works WAY better'n stock!). Drove fine, pulls a straight line, sounds good.
Still for sale...
