I took all of the IP harnes connectors loose and cleaned them today. when i removed the optical sensor connector and found it covered inside with diesel fuel. Is that a problem? could that cause driveability issues? wasn't sure if the diesel could short out those terminals. The boot seal is keeping it from leaking onto exterior of pump. I have been getting the "fish-biting" miss occasionally and have had a few stalls in the past few monthes. I am looking to replace the electronic filter harness, and wondered if the optical sensor would need to be replaced due to the leak or if this is really a problem. Also didn't know if I could simply replace the optical sensor as I've never had a ds4 pump apart. thanks for any info....ff43sc
