Way back when, I installed a high flow water pump on the Suburban. My K5 is weeping a little and I'm thinking of installing the same on it BUT I do not remember where I got this thing. I know some vendor on the DP offered it, it seems, for our 6.2's but I searched and did not see one. Anyone know where and if I can get a high flow water pump?

www.peninsularengine.com is most likely, especially if it's been a few years.

Kennedy may have offered the high flow for V-belts, but I'm not sure. There were no others, that I'm aware of.

Yup, you're right. I e-mailed Peninsular and they still sell it for $85 plus shipping. Hmmm. Advance Auto has new ones for $60 and rebuilt ones for $30. Decisions....decisions...

Didn't see one on Kennedy's site. I might e-mail him, too.

Thanks!

As I recall, the hi-flow Peninsular V-belt water pump was rated for something like 100-gpm, where the factory 6.2 WP was rated at 70.
