All,
I've developed an oil leak front of the engine on the Tahoe. I told my mech if it's the front main I am considering a Fluid Damper to go back in over OEM.
Any installed one who would like to comment on the advantages vs the cost?
Thanks

PS (Any supporting vendors PM me if you have this unit in stock as pursuant to this thread I may be looking for one)

Lots of info about the FD can be found in this thread (http://www.thedieselpageforums.com/tdpforum/showthread.php?t=25051), including comments from a a couple of 6.2/6.5 owners who installed one, and you'll find a vendor in that thread who will be happy to help.

I read that thread and didn't get any real feedback data, however I have gone ahead and ordered one for my Tahoe.
I will report my experience with it installed.

Thanks

Bu the way, I've communicated with a handful of other members who have installed the FD. They each report a smoother running engine. I think it's worth the price, but I wish the FD was a little more affordable. If you sell the vehicle at some point in time, I'd consider re-installing the OE damper, then sell the FD here in the classifieds.... ;)
