All,
Drove 115 miles today in the Suburban, cruise control worked. Drove home and no cruise control. Nothing happened I could see that could have caused any issues. I stopped halfway home and checked the fuse and it was good. Any clues where to start looking.
Thanks in advance.

Other than ground / electric issues, the only other advice I have is that I had a toyota 4runner that cruise would be disabled when it through a code of some sort. Sorry I can't remember exactly what it was. You may want to try resetting everything by disconnecting the batteries for a bit and see if she comes back on line for you. Let us know what it is when resolved.

The cruise is built into the computer software in the ECM

Your control switch in the Multi function unit on the column may have an issue.

Other than this the ECM should toss a code if there is an issue.

Another spot to check is the brake pedal switch. If this switch stops working so goes the cruise.

Try lifting the pedal slightly with your foot while you engage the cruise.

The switch has several contact sets. One for the brake light, the converter clutch and the cruise.

If this switch quits the thing can simply stop working and not toss a code as the ecm may not detect any anomaly other than the contacts are open/closed

A scan tool should be able to isolate this fairly quick.

Hope this helps
