Long and short injectors

Would it be unwise to use both long and short injectors on the same engine??

The High pressure lines are of a different length.

Keep the same injectors throughout the system.

yeah, but if I tweak them a little
This is a very low budget engine that just need to put in a little more time
I have two bad injectors and two OK of the other length
Don't want to put any money in the engine
But if it's a really bad idea I'll have to find some of the same kind

Watch ebay or a local Bone yard and pic up enough of whatever size the engine came with.

You could use long ones in a short injector application (Maybe) but I think the lines would be too short to go the other way

it will work, they might pop at a different pressure though.....dont know if that will kill the ip or not.

someone put 6.2 longs in my goodwrench 6.5, when i bought it i pulled them and put 6.5 shorts in.....used the same lines.
