I replaced my pmd with a remote location cooling kit (I don't think the company I bought it from still exists) approximately 3 - 4 years and 50K miles ago. I, of course, was hoping I would never need to replace the PMD again. Does anyone know how long PMD's typically last? Also, does anyone know who has the best price on a replacement?

I think FSD ( PMD when on the P (pump) ) life expectancy is all over the map.

Take a hard look at the SOL-D. Sounds like a good alternative.

There are used pumps coming up on Ebay weekly for under $100. Why not buy one, remove the FSD for a glovebox spare, and shelve the pump in case you need that, too?
