I had a problem with my drivers side window not going completely down. Today I took the panel of, undplugged wires to lights and power controls.
I looked inside and the rivits that hold the door solonoid had broken, letting the solonoid fall into the path of the window track / mecanism!
Removed the wires & solonoid clip , clamped it down in vise, drilled out the old rivets. Repalced wires & re- attached solonoid . Checked everything. reattached everything to panel and re installed. Took about an hour with philips &small flat screw drivers, 9/32 & 10mm sockets, tool to pop the trim fastners,(should have extra's on hand if damage any) . I figured I pass this along as may save someone else a trip to dealer & few $.
