I have a 2005 GMC Diesel and my odometer says "Odometer Error" can someone help. Thanks---Jerry

I haven't seen that one yet. Have you tried disconnecting the batteries and let the vehicle set for 30 minutes to see if the IPC will reset? otherwise you might hook a scanner up to the vehicle to see if there are any DTC's.

I did, but for only 10 mins, the trip odometer started to work but only 16 miles and then stopped again.---Jerry

The IPC has probably failed. The only way to know for sure is to hook up a Tech2 and check for codes/ perform function tests.
