I am looking for a new engine for my 94 z71. I have found a vendor who claims they sell new AM General engines . These are supposed to be coming from GM and are replacements totally brand new. My question is how can i tell if these are as stated? What questions do i need to to ask and what do i need to look for. These are quite a bit higher then the rebuilt ones available but if they are trully new i believe it could worth it

Tell us who your vendor is. If it's Kennedy, you are good to go. If it's someone else, we'll need to do some digging.
