Hey all, my name is Craig nd I am from Lewisville Texas. I recently traded an old 90 Dodge W150 V6 for a 88 Chevy K3500 with the 6.2. It is a former Border Patrol truck and all in all in great shape. Turbo400 shifts well, no leaks anywhere. It is VERY basic, manpower windows and locks, aftermarket under dash A/C but in great shape. The clock reads 059900, it may have a million and 59K but I don't think so. My question is since I have no maint history on this vehicle should I be thinking about changing glow plugs, injectors or anything else? I have replaced all the filters, oil, diff lube, etc. It runs like a top. I installed oil-volt-temp manual gauges and the vitals look good. I have had old Cummins and Fords, this is my first 6.2 rodeo. My gut says if it ain't broke dont fix it but I figure you gals/guy's here know more than me about these mills. Thanks for your help. Craig

First off :):D:)

Welcome to TDP ;)

Glad to have you aboard.

I would follow your gut feeling and just enjoy it.

The filters and such are a great idea and if something shows up then deal with it.

If it runs good/starts good and such it probably is good.
The 6.2 is a great little workhorse. No rocket but very dependable engine.

Enjoy
