$108, but now I have a fuel leak somewhere under the intake mmanifold, according to the mechanic. A slight diesel odor can be detected, and it leaks on the floor.Odd, when I did the chain, I tried hard not to disturb the pump.

Check to make sure the petcock for the fuel filter bowl is shut completely. If it still leaks, I would pull the fuel filter assembly and make sure all the hoses are good. It gets hot under the intake and the hoses are rubber. Over time they get brittle, crack and leak. I had to do this on mine.

Turns out the fuel was leaking at the reurn line from the injectors on the front side of the IP.Short piece of hose dripping at the tubing side. Guess I must have disturbed it putting in a t-stat housing bolt. Replaced line and clamps on both ends. Good to go!
