I am thinking about getting some 17" H2 rims . Mostly because I can't find any 16" take offs and I found these brand new cheap . My question is what size tire can I run on a stock '04 Chev D/A C/C S/B 4x4 with out having to do any trim work ? And will look half way decent ? Also if any body knows anything bad about this switch please let me know .

Thank You , Bill

I had some of the silver H2s on mine, tires were 265 70 17s, and they fit well. About the same size overall as 265 75 16 tires. I think they make a 285 70 17 also.

To me, the biggest drawback to the H2s was the weight of the silver ones, they are cast aluminum - heavy. I've heard the chrome H2s are lighter? I liked the looks of the H2 - they almost looked stock with the chevy center caps.

Joe.

The 91-00 chrome center caps look good too. Try to find the big caps that came off the rear of a 2500 with a FF rear or a dually. I think those look better than the PYO aluminum wheel caps.
