changing trans fluid

Drained tranny replaced filter new gasket, refilled. Is the transfer case fluid separate? While she's up in the air I want to refresh the t case fluid. Thanks

Different box. Different fluid for sure.

Mine was pushing 80 / 140 wt. past the seal and filling the transfer case. As long as I didn't drain the t case the trans would stay full. Rebuild fixed all that.
